Major Updates in NoveltyChecker LLM
1. Direct File Upload Capability (PDF & DOC Support):
Users can now upload their disclosure directly in PDF or Word (DOC) formats. The system intelligently parses the uploaded files and extracts relevant text sections required for conducting a novelty search.
This enhancement removes the need for manual input, reducing time and increasing accuracy for users working from pre-existing documents.
2. Increased Word Limits Across Input Fields:
There’s increased input text capacity to offer users more flexibility and detail in their disclosures:
- Problem to be Solved: from 25 words → 100 words
- Technology Domain: from 25 words → 50 words
- Disclosure: from 300 words → 600 words
This allows for more comprehensive articulation of disclosure context and novelty, resulting in higher-quality results.
