Associate/Senior Associate – R&D

Responsibilities 

• Conduct research and development in AI-driven solutions for patent and intellectual property processes. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI PhDs, software developers, and patent attorneys, to refine and improve product offerings. 
• Develop algorithms, models, and methodologies for optimizing patent search, drafting, and analytics. 
• Provide technical insights and recommendations to drive product improvements. 
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and IP-related technologies to integrate best practices. 
• Support the team in translating research outcomes into real-world applications with commercial viability. 
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Must Haves

• 2-6 years of experience in AI, ML, or related R&D roles. 
• Strong understanding of machine learning, NLP, and AI-driven automation. 
• Experience in developing and deploying AI models in production environments. 
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks. 
• Knowledge of patent search, analytics, or legal tech is a plus. 

Preferred Haves 

• A degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field. 
• Experience working in startups or fast-growing tech companies. 
• Hands-on experience in AI-driven patent or IP-related projects. 
• Understanding of legal-tech market dynamics and innovation in IP management. 

Nice to Haves 

• Prior work in an AI-powered SaaS company.
